I’ve got lots of film, just no time to scan. I sprained my ankle (badly) last week, and it’s still painful. Went back to Michigan for a wedding (photos to follow, on [Flickr](http://www.flickr.com/photos/peterbaker “My Flickr Stream”)), hung out in [Blissfield](photos/106) for the rest of the week. Came back to [my car](/photos/83) being broken into (all of my tools got stolen), after a 3 hour delay on my flight, partly because of a guy pissing himself on the plane. But [Michelle](/photos/33) and I are going to Sanoma tomorrow to see my pal Bryan at a glass show where he and his business partner will be representing their [company](http://www.kbglassworks.com) (I did their site too). So I got that going for me.
[Epson Scan Version](/_img/photos/mf_bf_04_epscan.jpg)
I had this frame scanned down at [PhotoWorks San Francisco](http://www.photoworkssf.com/) to get a [Giclee](http://www.gicleeprint.net/index.asp) print and decided to post again to compare [my scan](/photos/99), done with an Epson 4870 to theirs. The color looks great, much more natural (if a little bright), but I think the highlights are way blown out. Their Epson print looks nice, but it still didn’t give me the little bit of breathlessness I get when I see a nice c-print. I’m off again for the week, back to Michigan to see my great friends Stephen & Kathleen get hitched (officially).
