As much as I show photos from Hasselblads and Mamiyas, one of my most favorite cameras has been my Olympus Stylus Epic, the little 35mm that could. But after a particularly nasty spill onto concrete (again), he decided to retire to that shining camera store in the sky. He was a trooper, and shall be missed.

So, when I thought about what would fill that gap; the knockaround pocket guy, I thought it might be time to look at digicams, again. But after only a half an hour or so of looking around, and nothing standing out (again), I quickly ran home and ordered another Epic, from B&H, the only place I was able to find one new. I may have to stock up on these things, and save myself from being without it ever again.

So, in honor of the little $75 wonder that made me love 35mm all over again, here’s a little homage to my first Olympus Stylus Epic.
